During spaceflight many stressors act upon astronauts. When considering longer duration stays in Low Earth Orbit and especially when thinking about future crewed exploration class missions to the Moon and beyond, maintaining appropriate Human Behaviour and Performance (HBP) is a concern.
Complementing limited data directly from spaceflight (relatively low subject numbers, operational constraints etc.) most space agencies around the world look to analogue environments and dedicated simulations in order to increase knowledge on these issues.
