1st IAA Planetary Defense Conference
Display of Posters at the Symposium
The posters will remain on display during the whole conference in the area where coffee breaks are taken and where, on the second evening, there will be a Poster Session and Reception. Each presenter will have a display board approximately 90 cm wide and 190 cm tall. Sticking tape and pins will be provided. Authors are strongly encouraged to produce a proper poster rather than using multiple sheets of A4 paper. Please be advised that each presenter must bear the cost of producing and transporting their poster on their own. No printing facilities are available at the conference centre.
The posters will also be available for scrutiny at lunch time. Authors are not expected to support their posters at all times but if not there during the main “poster” time they should provide a schedule as to when they will be “at” their poster or otherwise help to ensure they can communicate with interested participants.
Unless you have been advised that your poster will be given a 5,minute presentation slot then you should prepare 2 slides to allow the session chair to introduce your poster (these slots are typically at the start of each session). The first of the two slides will have the formal title and the list of authors, slide 2 can use up to 7 lines to describe the paper/poster. It should be possible to deliver the content of the slides in about 1 minute.
