7th International Symposium Reducing the Costs of Spacecraft Ground Systems and Operations (RCSGSO)
Please find enclosed the
application form to obtain a Russian visa.
Participants should fill in the form (please write precisely and clearly!), sign it and send it to ESA Moscow office (EMO), details are available on the form. The EMO office needs at least 10 working days to get the reference number for a single entry Russian visa.
EMO will send the reference number to all the people from whom the application forms were received no earlier than in the middle of May.
Please don't ask EMO to check if your visa form was received. Only in case you don't receive the reference number for the visa by May 20, contact:
emodesk@esa.int
The reference number can be expected in the middle of May. After having this number the applicant has to contact the Russian consulate in his own country and get all the necessary details (do not contact the ESA Moscow office as they don't know the exact details for each country).
Usually Russian consulates request: 2 photos, medical insurance, and passport valid for not less than 3 months after the period for which the applicant requests a Russian visa, money and questionnaire to fill in.
The deadline for submitting your visa request to EMO desk is 30 April 2007. Please be on time as there are several national holidays in May and the offices are closed for several days.
VISA for accompanying persons:
ESA Moscow office is in the position to arrange visas via the Ministry of Foreign Affairs only for the accompanying persons of ESA staff members (and contractors working at ESA).
For the other participants it would be possible to arrange visas for their accompanying persons via the hotel (in this case they will get tourist visas). Hotel Metropol and Hotel Golden Apple provide visa support to their guests, the Volga hotel doesn't (it is indicated in the form).
Getting the tourist visa voucher from the hotel and all other arrangements for tourist visas will be the entire responsibility of the participant.
