The European Space Agency (ESA) will host an international symposium that will be held from May 14th - 16th 2007 at the European Space Research and Technology Centre (ESTEC) in Noordwijk, The Netherlands.

The symposium will be organised by the ESA Procurement Department and will focus on developing trends in the field of Public Procurement and Auditing.

Being a large procurement agency, ESA places large development contracts with leading space industries located in the 17 Member States, with the related a-priori and a-posteriori procurement auditing aspects being an integral part of the overall procurement process.

Hosting this symposium ESA considers that by bringing professional procurement and auditing experts together in an international setting, will hopefully allow for a very inspiring and useful forum.
