Welcome to the IVEC 2005 Website.

With more than 100 oral presentations and attendance exceeding 200, IVEC 2005 has once again proven to be the yearly technical event of the Vacuum Electronics community. This is demonstrated by the wide scope of applications (Space, Science, Telecom, Radar...) and devices (TWTs, Klystrons, IOTs, Gyrotrons...) covered, by the international interest (more than 15 countries were represented), and, as always, by the high level of quality of the technical papers. The recipient of the IVEC 2005 Award was Joseph Saloom, and the best Student Paper Award went to Marinella Aloisio.

The IVEC 2005 Programme Committee wishes to thank all the participants for having made this event a success and looks forward to meeting you at IVEC 2006 in Monterey, CA.
